About Us

In 2014, Meghann had her first exposure to the beautiful country of eSwatini through a short term trip with their home church, Calvary Chapel Chester Springs.  The following year, Nelson was able to go and it was from that point on, they watched as the Lord prepared them to leave everything comfortable for their next step of faith. 

Nelson & Meghann Horst moved their family of 5 to eSwatini in 2018, with a heart to love and walk alongside the community. The Lord has gifted them differently, but they make a great team! Meghann is a Registered Nurse, and loves the opportunity to attend to the holistic well-being of others. Nelson grew up working in their family-owned tree care business, which has equipped him for multiple skill sets - maintenance, mechanics, woodworking/building, and horticulture.

 Their shared love of the Lord and for pouring into others allows them to work side by side in a variety of ways, including running Sihawu Ministries, Sunday Bible study, and anything else the Lord sees fit.  

The Horsts have 3 children - Wesley, Connor, & Maddie. They love all being under the same roof and savor those moments together.
